Protect our Border; New bill in Congress

From beautiful Homer Glen I am sending out an alert . The bill has the right premise, but allows citizenship for military service. This part of the bill forgets that there are plenty of citizens that don’t qualify for various reasons to serve, and the idea of non –citizens protecting our Country is scary. Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), a member of the House Immigration, has introduced legislation that would eliminate the granting of automatic citizenship to babies born in the United States. In the past, the bill has been offered by former Congressman, and now current Governor of Georgia, Nathan Deal. The Birthright Citizenship Act of 2011, H.R.140, would require that at least one parent be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident for the newborn to receive automatic citizenship.
